Boise Project is seeking a dedicated and physically active individual for aDitch Riderposition. This role is vital to managing and maintaining our local irrigation infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Water Management:Operate irrigation gates, checks, and spills to regulate water flow in canals and drains.
- Infrastructure Maintenance:Clean and maintain culvert crossings, pump inlet grates, and concrete structures.
- Field Work:Construct, install, and repair weirs and concrete boxes; assist in weed control and debris removal using specialized tools.
- Logistics:Patrol routes daily to receive and compile water orders from customers.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Driving:Must maintain a clean driving record with valid driver\'s license. (CDL is a plus)
- Physical Fitness:Ability to lift50 lbs, navigate steep canal banks, and walk on uneven terrain.
- Skills:Basic math and computer proficiency; experience with irrigation water is a major plus.
- Compliance:Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
Compensation & Earnings Potential
- Base Pay:Starting at\$19.95/hour(based on experience) + seasonal pay during water delivery.
