Salary: $130,000 - Depends on Experience (DOE).

Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise is a growing city and serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities.
Primary Duties: The Office of the Solicitor General oversees all appellate litigation in the Office of the Attorney General in both state and federal court. The Deputy Solicitor General can expect to draft appellate briefs, dispositive motions, and Attorney General Opinions; coordinate with other states’ attorney general offices on multistate efforts; manage day-to-day litigation matters; and research, analyze, and consult on other issues of importance to the Attorney General and other constitutional officers. The Deputy Solicitor General can also expect to present oral arguments in front of the Ninth Circuit and the Idaho Supreme Court.
Minimum Qualifications: Ideal candidates will have at least four years of legal experience and will have completed a clerkship.
