AI Program Manager - IHT Strategy & Enablement

About the IHT Strategy & Enablement Team

St. Luke’s Information Health Technology (IHT) Strategy & Enablement team brings together core operational functions, project and portfolio leadership, and emerging technologies strategy to help IHT deliver measurable, enterprise-wide impact. We focus on alignment, operational excellence, and disciplined innovation so technology investments translate into what matters most: better experiences and safer, more reliable care for patients.

About this Role

We are seeking an AI Program Manager to help coordinate and enable artificial intelligence initiatives across our organization. This role is part of the AI Center of Excellence (CoE) and focuses on bringing structure, visibility, and consistency to AI efforts already underway, ensuring they align with system strategy, responsible AI principles, and measurable outcomes.

The AI Program Manager works in close partnership with clinical, business, and technology teams to support governance, adoption, and value measurement, helping St. Luke’s advance AI in a thoughtful, collaborative, and mission‑driven way.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination

  • Coordinate AI activities across the organization, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive a cohesive, aligned approach.

  • Establish and sustain consistent program practices that strengthen accountability and execution.

  • Maintain and continuously refine a system-wide AI roadmap, ensuring initiatives remain visible and transparent.

  • Enable clear, timely communication to support informed decision-making.

Governance & Risk Oversight

  • Support the operating cadence of AI governance, including meeting preparation, reviews, decision documentation, and follow-through on actions.

  • Partner with subject matter experts to reinforce responsible AI practices, including risk management, data integrity, and ethical use.

Adoption & Change Management

  • Advance system-wide AI adoption through education, change management, and engagement.

  • Help scale an AI Ambassador Network that promotes best practices, shared learning, and responsible use of AI tools.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess AI enablement maturity and identify opportunities to improve.

Value Measurement & Reporting

  • In partnership with the AI COE, measure and report the value and impact of AI initiatives, translating outcomes into clear leadership insights.

  • Support continuous improvement by tying AI efforts to meaningful operational, clinical, and workforce outcomes.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Facilitate collaboration across IT, clinical, and business teams to integrate AI solutions into real-world workflows.

  • Serve as an enabling partner connecting people, work, and ideas to accelerate progress, rather than owning execution.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s + 4 years (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years program management experience.

  • Demonstrated fluency in AI concepts and responsible AI/governance principles, with the ability to quickly learn new AI tools and workflows.

  • Experience managing AI or technology-related projects.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to drive cross-functional collaboration.

  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
