A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Stock Room Clerk Position type: Full-time, Contract Duration: 104 weeks (24 months) Location: Bohemia, NY 11716 Shift: M-F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm As a Stock Room Clerk,you will: Utilize a variety of material handling/packaging equipment Identify correct parts, components, wires and other materials by part markings, color codes, container labels, etc. Utilize desktop instructions, parts lists, forms, & other work instructions to complete tasks Perform bulk counting utilizing scales and tape & reel counters and fill orders per bill of material (BOM) requirements Package parts in proper packaging material Utilize computer systems and printers (e.g. record inventory transactions, generate labels, labor charging) Conduct cycle counts and record results and track materials (physical and systems) Package & ship materials per shipping instructions Unload trucks, utilizing appropriate lifting equipment as needed Maintain appropriate levels of packaging supplies; replenish as needed Maintain accurate records of all work performed (e.g. cycle counts, labor charging) Train other employees & perform other duties as assigned The ideal candidate will have: Minimum of 2 years directly related experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
