Sartorius Stedim North America Field Application Specialist in BOHEMIA, New York
Responsible for providing scientific and technical expertise to support the implementation and optimization of company products in customer processes. The position will involve application development work, product validation, technical troubleshooting, and training of customers and internal teams. The specialist will collaborate closely with product management, quality, and sales teams to ensure effective design, validation, and deployment of products in line with biological and process requirements. Daily duties: Conduct laboratory and process-based application trials and demonstrations to evaluate and validate product performance in alignment with customer requirements; Support customers in application development, initial product start-up, and troubleshooting of biological or process workflows; Collect, compile, verify, and analyze data related to product performance, biological applications, and customer processes, and prepare detailed technical trial reports; Provide technical input during customer process analysis and assist in developing optimized product solutions tailored to application-specific requirements; Support the quality team in investigating product-related issues by analyzing customer data and biological processes to identify and resolve performance concerns; Document and report on experimental outcomes, competitor product performance, and customer feedback to management for continuous product improvement; Provide basic product training and technical workshops for customers, internal teams, and distribution partners; Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and execute beta site testing, and assist in defining trial scope, methodologies, and acceptance criteria.
