IQVIA Senior Project Manager - Digital Operations Lead in Bogota, Colombia
Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager | Digital Operations Lead is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of IQVIA’s patient‑facing digital initiatives, with a primary focus on Electronic Patient Recruitment (ePR) . This is a portfolio‑level project management role , overseeing multiple concurrent projects (typically 5–10) across different sponsors, timelines, and delivery phases.
The role acts as the central delivery owner , ensuring digital deliverables—such as ePR websites and study‑specific assets—are planned, resourced, executed, and delivered on time, within scope and budget. This is not a technical development role, but requires strong delivery leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and hands‑on familiarity with CMS‑based digital workflows.
The position has no direct reports , but functions as a team lead for delivery planning, prioritization, and stakeholder coordination .
Key Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end project planning and execution across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Manage a portfolio of concurrent ePR projects , each with distinct sponsors, deliverables, and go‑live dates.
Own project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Validate project scope, schedules, budgets, and delivery success metrics.
Coordinate and balance workloads across digital producers; identify capacity and delivery risks.
Assign and reassign resources based on priority, risk, and availability.
Coordinate multiple go‑lives occurring on overlapping timelines.
Partner closely with Patient Recruitment Leads (PRLs) to align ePR delivery with broader study plans.
Collaborate with Marketing Operations, IT, ClinicalResearch.com, and external vendors to ensure delivery commitments are met.
Oversee delivery of patient‑facing ePR websites , including qualification flows and handoff to referral hubs.
Apply project management tools and governance processes aligned with IQVIA standards.
Proactively escalate risks and drive mitigation to protect timelines, quality, and sponsor satisfaction.
Step in to support digital producer work when required to ensure delivery continuity.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience , managing multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
3+ years of experience in digital marketing, digital operations, clinical operations, or a related delivery environment, preferably in a regulated or healthcare setting.
Hands‑on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) is required , preferably Sitecore . Equivalent CMS experience accepted, including WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, or Drupal.
Proven ability to work independently and drive delivery without close oversight.
Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Formal project management education or demonstrated delivery experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in healthcare, clinical research, agency, or other regulated environments.
Experience with survey tools such as Alchemer .
PMP or other formal project management certification (preferred, not required).
Background in digital delivery, digital operations, or patient‑focused project execution.
