Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer to support a cloud-based reporting infrastructure by developing and maintaining SQL data pipelines within an established environment, primarily using Databricks and Azure. The role involves managing data workflows, ensuring data quality, and supporting reporting needs, including work with paid and organic search data and visualization through Power BI.
Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and data pipelines.
Manage and monitor data workflows within Databricks and cloud environments.
Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Work with paid and organic search data to support analytics and reporting needs.
Support reporting and visualization efforts using Power BI and Excel.
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
Qualifications
Requirements
English B2+ Strong expertise in SQL with the ability to write and manage complex queries.
Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data flows.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
Experience with Power BI and strong Excel skills.
Understanding of search data (paid and organic) is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills to work with both technical and business teams.
Experience with ETL process
Nice to have
Experience with additional cloud infrastructure tools like Azure Data Factory.
Familiarity with SEO data and prior agency experience in similar roles.
Understanding of software development practices such as CICD pipelines and managing code libraries.
Exposure to Python or similar languages, and knowledge of platforms like Adobe Analytics or Search Ads 360.
Proficiency in NoSQL databases and willingness to learn and adapt to new data platforms.
