Reporting to the Team Lead, Met Sales Americas, the Business Development Manager – Met Sales Latin America is responsible for expanding our meteorological business segment footprint across Central and South America. You will support the sales team in identifying new customers, nurturing existing customer relationships and helping to drive strategic growth across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to build or continue a career in meteorological weather station and sensor sales and business development.

This position is part of the Met Sales; Americas Team located in North or South America and will be remote.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • Assist in identifying and qualifying new customers and business opportunities for our Meteorological markets across Central and South America

  • Support the development of proposals, presentations and client facing sales collateral

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis using all the tools available to make strategic decisions.

  • Maintain and update our CRM with client interactions, notes, forecasts and additional data as needed

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and finance

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to represent the company

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field

  • Min. 1–2 years of experience in sales or business development

  • Passion for sustainability and the meteorological

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
