Overview

The Audio-Visual Support Concierge is a hands-on, customer focused AV technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting all AV systems and video conferencing platforms in a fast paced office environment. This role supports high profile meetings and events, ensures all conference rooms are operational daily, and builds strong relationships with business teams to anticipate and meet technology needs. Ideal candidates are technically skilled, proactive, and service oriented, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

AV Operations & Technical Support

  • Independently operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair AV systems and peripherals.

  • Perform daily checks of all conference rooms to ensure systems are fully operational.

  • Conduct pre-meeting AV checks for high profile events and VIP/executive video meetings.

  • Troubleshoot, upgrade, and/or replace AV components as needed.

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of audio-visual signal flow and troubleshooting.

  • Maintain working knowledge of industry leading vendor equipment (Crestron, Poly, Cisco).

  • Coordinate with external vendors when support or repairs are required.

  • Maintain accurate AV inventory and consistently update documentation.

Client Support & Event Execution

  • Assist in scheduling AV support for high-profile events and executive meetings.

  • Provide live event production and support.

  • Manage or assist with client pitch setups, including consultation and execution.

  • Communicate AV issues in real time during high-profile events.

  • Deliver excellent customer service and build strong working relationships with stakeholders across teams (e.g., New Business, Finance, Digital, Events, Executive Assistants).

Systems, Communication & Workflow

  • Meet or exceed all support performance metrics and SLAs.

  • Log, track, and manage tickets using platforms such as ServiceNow.

  • Follow established business practices and procedures.

  • Provide training and consultation to end-users as needed.

  • Actively participate in AV team communications and share solutions or recommendations.

  • Maintain familiarity with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex conferencing platforms.

  • Maintain a proactive, problem-solving mindset, always looking for potential issues or improvements.

Professional Skills & Physical Requirements

  • Exemplary communication and follow-up skills.

  • Strong individual contributor who also thrives in a team setting.

  • CTS or relevant AV certifications preferred.

  • Ability to lift and transport up to 60 lbs.

  • Comfortable with extended periods of walking, standing, bending, or sitting.

  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends or off-site events.

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work well individually or in a team setting.

  • Outstanding customer service and the ability to build working relationships with business stakeholders.

  • Industry Certification (preferred)

  • Certified Technology Specialist - CTS

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Audio Visual, information technology, or related degrees preferred

  • 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting corporate audio visual installations.

Communication Skills:

  • Fluent coomunication in English (B2+ or above).
