The Art Director is passionate about developing creative concepts represented by visually stunning designs that create exceptional brand experiences. They thrive in collaborative environments as part of their role in ideas development. Great graphic design skills and creative thinking are essential. Collaborating closely with creative leads and executive teams, they will play an important role in driving business growth through powerful visuals and impactful messaging. The Art Director supports a culture of creativity, innovation, and learning within the design and art direction team. Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-management skills are essential, as is keeping abreast of design trends and technologies.
Responsabilidades
Maintain and expand design systems, including components, tokens, variables, and style guides in Figma.
Prepare clean, developer‑ready design files with proper documentation and specifications.
Organize and structure design files using best practices for naming, versioning, and hierarchy.
Update and maintain responsive wireframes across breakpoints.
Implement feedback from senior designers, PMs, and developers efficiently.
Ensure adherence to accessibility standards.
Support the team in producing interactive prototypes and clickable flows when needed.
Participate in QA reviews and provide visual/UX quality checks.
Build and maintain clean, consistent style guides and UI kits.
Engage actively in brainstorming sessions, creative reviews, and project kickoffs.
Communicate frequently and thoroughly with team members.
Cualificaciones
4-5 years of experience as an Art Director
Proficiency in digital design and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign, etc.).
Motion graphics experience preferred.
Social media experience is a plus.
Proficiency in Figma, including shared libraries, variants, tokens, and advanced design system workflows.
Understanding of component‑based/atomic design and responsive UI principles.
Familiarity or willingness to learn developer handoff tools and processes.
Strong attention to detail and pixel‑perfect execution.
Basic understanding of interaction design (hover, pressed, focus, disabled states, hierarchy, etc.).
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, Notion, or Confluence.
Exposure to UX research, user testing, or analytics.
Experience with prototyping tools and workflows.
Understanding of HTML/CSS.
Strong design knowledge and creative thinking.
