Hilton Chef de Partie - Hot Kitchen in Bodrum, Turkey

A Chef de Partie – Hot Kitchen is responsible for ensuring that all hot kitchen items—such as hot appetizers, main courses, soups, sauces, and other hot preparations—are prepared and presented to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience, while assisting with food cost controls.

What will I be doing?

As a Chef de Partie – Hot Kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting all hot kitchen items to the highest standards. You will also assist with controlling food costs and maintaining kitchen operations. Specifically, your responsibilities include:

Ensure all hot kitchen items are prepared and presented to a high quality and within company guidelinesSupervise hot kitchen staff as requiredMaintain cleanliness and organization of all working areas, ensuring no cross-contaminationPrepare all mise-en-place for the hot kitchen sectionsCook and present hot appetizers, main courses, soups, and sauces according to recipes and standardsRespond promptly and effectively to guest queries related to hot kitchen offeringsEnsure all ingredients and food items are of high quality and stored correctlyContribute to cost control, improving gross profit margins, and achieving departmental and financial targetsAssist other departments as needed and maintain positive working relationshipsReport any maintenance, hygiene, or safety hazardsComply with hotel security, fire regulations, health & safety, and food safety legislationPromote environmental awareness and sustainable practices

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Achieved Basic Food Hygiene Certificate

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Previous kitchen experience in a similar hot kitchen roleExperience in preparing hot dishes such as main courses, sauces, and hot starters

Intermediate food hygiene knowledge and practice
