Actalent Pharmacy Technician in Boca Raton, Florida

We are hiring an Entry Level Pharmacy Technician // First Shift, No Weekends!!

Job Description

As a pharmacy technician, you will primarily manage inbound customer phone calls. You will also receive cross-training in pharmacy infusion processes such as prior authorization, order filling, and data entry to support the pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer phone calls effectively and professionally.

  • Cross-train in pharmacy infusion processes, including prior authorization, order filling, and data entry.

  • Assist with order entry, filling, and labeling of prescriptions.

  • Provide excellent customer service support.

  • Manage insurance-related tasks and queries.

  • Support pharmacy operations as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in FL.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Experience with prior authorization processes.

  • High school diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Pioneer pharmacy software preferred.

  • Specialty pharmacy experience strongly preferred.

  • Desire to work in sales/business development preferred.

Work Environment

  • This position is located onsite in a closed-door pharmacy. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. The pharmacy offers a strong family-oriented culture with opportunities for permanent positions and six paid holidays.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boca Raton, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
