Robert Half Lease Administrator/Paralegal in Boca Raton, Florida

Description

We are looking for a skilled Lease Administrator to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing lease agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards, and maintaining accurate lease records for corporate real estate operations. This is a long-term contract position ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail and expertise in lease administration and property management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze lease agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance with corporate policies and legal regulations.

• Manage lease renewals, amendments, and terminations while maintaining detailed records.

Process estoppel certificates & SNDA requests

• Facilitate the monthly rent roll process, overseeing payments amounting to approximately $1.7 million per month.

• Track lease payments, handle rent escalations, and manage Common Area Maintenance (CAM) payments.

• Obtain necessary documentation to establish accounts for rent payments on new and updated leases.

• Coordinate reconciliations for all property locations and ensure timely submission of security deposit checks.

• Request Tenant Improvement Allowance distributions from landlords and process estoppel certificates.

• Communicate and coordinate legal documents with external legal counsel as needed.

• Collaborate with property managers to address and resolve lease-related issues.

• Administer business tax receipts, licenses, and permits, and coordinate inspections required by local jurisdictions.

Requirements

MUST know to prepare, review and manage abstract agreements.

Must know to process Estoppel and SNDA requests

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, real estate, or equivalent experience in lease administration.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lease administration or related field

• Strong understanding of lease terminology and the ability to interpret legal language.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Paralegal certification is strongly preferred.

• Familiarity with lease management software such as ProLease Direct is advantageous.

• Ability to analyze company financials and provide informed recommendations.
