Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, accurate, and capable of managing invoicing and payment processes efficiently. Responsibilities:
• Process invoices and ensure accurate allocation to appropriate customer accounts.
• Maintain detailed records of accounts receivable transactions and payment histories.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and resolve customer account issues.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Outlook to manage financial data and communication effectively.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and follow up with commercial clients as needed.
• Apply cash payments to the correct accounts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Generate billing statements and reports to support business operations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures while managing sensitive financial information.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with internal and external stakeholders. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment applications.
• Familiarity with commercial collections and cash applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external correspondence.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high levels of accuracy.
• Previous experience in a similar role with consistent job tenure.
• Knowledge of billing functions and financial reporting.
