Description
The Supply Specialist performs varied essential materials, distribution, and logistics tasks within the department of Materials Management in support of clinical activities within the medical complex.
The focus of this job purpose is based on the ability to determine replenishment requirements, locate, select, document issue of, and distribute medical supplies.
Documenting receipt of and distribution of supplies and equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school graduate (or GED equivalent) and one year of related work experience.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing as well as demonstrated ability to perform recordkeeping tasks, shipping/receiving, physical inventories and quality control checks.
Must be computer literate and have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Skills:
Ability to stand on feet all day
Physical ability to pick orders and stock shipments
Understanding how to use scanner to record materials
Material handling and logistics experience
Best Candidate:
A+ - Comes from logistics in healthcare and can use a scan gun
Has shipping and receiving experience

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bluffton, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
