Robert Half Real Estate Paralegal in Bluffton, South Carolina
Description We are looking for a skilled Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in Bluffton, South Carolina. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting attorneys with real estate transactions, legal documentation, and case management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in real estate law and litigation.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, deeds, and closing statements.
• Conduct thorough research on property records, titles, and zoning laws to ensure compliance.
• Assist attorneys with discovery processes, including gathering and organizing evidence and documentation.
• Support civil litigation efforts by drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
• Coordinate trial preparation activities such as scheduling witnesses and organizing exhibits.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records using case management software.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to facilitate smooth real estate transactions and litigation processes.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents with courts and other entities.
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars. Requirements • Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate law and litigation.
• Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools.
• Strong understanding of discovery processes and civil litigation procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of trial preparation and court filing procedures.
• Paralegal certification or relevant legal education is preferred.
