Job Description
An employer is seeking a SAP Business Analyst for a long-term opportunity based out of the Cincinnati, OH area. The SAP Business Analyst – Quality Management will serve as a functional and operational subject matter expert supporting the transition to a global SAP S/4HANA quality management template. This role is responsible for bridging business quality requirements with SAP system capabilities by working closely with business stakeholders, deployment leads, and cross-functional teams. The analyst will support workshop-based requirements gathering, challenge and validate business needs, and ensure quality processes are effectively translated into SAP solutions. This position supports transitions from JDE to SAP, or from legacy SAP systems to a standardized global SAP S/4HANA template, with a strong focus on quality management processes. The role includes facilitating workshops, developing current-state and future-state process maps, and creating data-gathering templates to support system configuration and deployment. The analyst will guide users on SAP capabilities and limitations, ensuring clarity on how business units will engage with the SAP system.
Responsibilities include supporting SAP Quality Management processes such as non-conformance, inspection management, batch and serial data management, inventory under quality control, stop shipment activities, product expiration management, and automated product release. The analyst will ensure quality master data is accurately defined and maintained within SAP, collaborate with deployment teams during testing and rollout, and act as the primary operational point of contact to help bridge gaps between business users and technical teams. Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills are essential to support user adoption and ensure business requirements are fully understood and met.

S/4 Hana migration
UAT experience
Hands on quality management processes
Batch and serial data management
Familiar with quality master data (within SAP)
Inspection Management with LIMS (MES is a plus
Stop shipment activities
Product expiration management Medical Device experience
Any certifications
