Job Description
Join our team as a Weekend Assembler, where you will utilize your skills in hand and power tools to work on custom assembly projects. You will engage in electro-mechanical tasks, wiring, and testing products using sheet metal prints and electrical schematics. Your role will involve assembling components, making wiring connections, and ensuring product quality through the use of inspection equipment.
Responsibilities
Utilize hand and power tools for custom sheet metal assembly projects.
Use electro-mechanical and test equipment to assemble, wire, and test products.
Assemble components, make wiring connections, and test using provided tools.
Accurately route, connect, fasten, and secure wires per diagrams or work instructions.
Read blueprints, wiring schematics, and work instructions.
Work from job tickets, manuals, or digital instructions.
Ensure custom dimensions and quality standards are met using inspection equipment.
Essential Skills
1+ year of experience with mechanical assembly.
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and perform wiring.
Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school education or GED equivalent is required.
Preferred 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience
Familiarity with inspection processes and systems controls.
Setup experience specific to department or equipment.
Strong communication skills (read, write, speak, listen).
Process and detail orientation with the ability to discuss, deploy, and document best practices.
Work Environment
Work during the weekend shift, from 5 am to 5:30 pm Friday through Sunday. Initial training on weekdays. The work environment involves sheet metal fabrication and assembly, with a moderate noise level. Steel-toed shoes and pants are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
