Sr. Application Systems Engineer We are seeking an Application Systems Engineer with 7+ years of experience to design, develop, test, and deploy modern web applications that improve access to data and streamline internal workflows. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain modern web applications (primarily Angular; React experience a plus) Support application containerization using Docker and CI/CD pipelines through GitHub Deploy and host applications on Linux servers using Nginx Learn and support legacy applications to troubleshoot issues and resolve defects Modernize legacy applications by refactoring, migrating, or converting them to modern technologies as needed Debug and resolve application issues through to completion Create and maintain clear technical documentation Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 7+ years of professional application or web development experience Knowledge of one or more of the following languages: SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS Experience with web application development Willingness and ability to learn and work with legacy applications and technologies Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Ability to document technical systems and processes Preferred: Experience with Angular and/or React Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines Full-stack development experience The annual salary range for this role is $114,320-171,480. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
