Systems Analysis Senior Advisor – Product & Automation
Job Summary
The Systems Analysis Senior Advisor – Product & Automation serves as a senior, hybrid role combining Business Product Ownership, Technical Product Ownership, and Systems Analysis to support automation initiatives within PBM / Benefit Automation. This role is responsible for translating complex business, regulatory, and operational needs into high‑quality technical solutions, while leading delivery execution in partnership with onshore and offshore teams. The ideal candidate operates independently, manages competing priorities, and owns outcomes across the full delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Business Analysis
Act as a Business Product Owner (BPO) for automation initiatives, owning business intent, scope, prioritization, and delivery outcomes
Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business, operational, and regulatory requirements
Translate business needs into clear, actionable epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Make informed trade‑off decisions balancing scope, risk, timelines, and business value
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, operations, and technical teams
Technical Product Ownership & Delivery
Function as a Technical Product Owner (TPO), collaborating closely with developers, architects, and QA
Support solution design by providing functional and technical input aligned to system architecture
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, release readiness, and production validation activities
Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and delivery blockers across teams
Support testing, defect triage, and post‑release validation to ensure solution quality
Systems Analysis & Technical Documentation
Develop and maintain high‑quality functional and technical documentation
Document business rules, data mappings, automation logic, and system behaviors
Ensure documentation supports development, QA, operations, audit, and long‑term maintainability
Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation standards and delivery practices
Offshore Team & Vendor Management
Provide day‑to‑day oversight of offshore development and administrative consulting resources
Assign and prioritize work to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery
Review deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and alignment to requirements
Coordinate across time zones to maintain delivery velocity and operational continuity
Act as an escalation point for delivery, resourcing, and access issues
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
5+ years of experience in systems analysis, product ownership, or related technical roles
Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, data mapping, and business rules
Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience serving in a hybrid Business Product Owner / Technical Product Owner role
PBM, healthcare, or regulated industry experience
Familiarity with automation platforms, ETL processes, and system integrations
Experience working with offshore or distributed delivery teams
Experience supporting compliance‑sensitive or audit‑driven initiatives

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 119,400 - 199,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
