Overview
Our client is seeking a professional Medical Receptionist to join their team in Bloomington, MN. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, this role is crucial in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of the medical office.
Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage calendars for providers
Verify patient information and ensure accurate data entry into medical records
Assist with insurance verification, co-pay collection, and other billing needs
Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and documents
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Support other administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, scanning, and copying
Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, patients, and external partners
Requirements
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems
