HHAeXchange Manager, Software Engineering IDD in Bloomington, Minnesota
HHAeXchange is seeking a Manager, IDD Software Engineering to lead and actively contribute to the development of our technology supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is both a leadership and hands-on engineering position. The manager is expected to guide a team of engineers while also writing code, troubleshooting complex issues, and contributing directly to system improvements. This role partners closely with product, customer success, and operations teams to align engineering work with customer needs and business priorities. Responsibilities include sprint planning, backlog prioritization, delivery accountability, mentoring and onboarding engineers, and driving continuous improvement in development practices. This role will also help identify technical risks, advocate for resources, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of solutions. The ideal candidate is a strong technical contributor with experience leading engineering teams, a passion for solving complex problems, and an interest in building software that supports people with disabilities and the providers who serve them. The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $130,000-145,000/yr not including variable compensation. An employee s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
