Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) Direct Support Professional (DSP) - IHS with training & Homemaker in Bloomington, Minnesota
Job Duties
Availability:
1) IHS with training ($25/hr): Weekdays after 10am (flexible), 10 hrs/week
2) Homemaking ($22/hr): Weekdays after 10am (flexible but not the same time as the IHS shifts), 5 hrs/week
Tasks: cleaning, organization, scheduling, transporting/accompanying in the community, cooking, keeping family updated on health status/concerns, and other independent living tasks requested by individual so can continue to live in thier own home and interact with thier community.
Preference: Experience with caregiving and cleaning; experience supporting someone with hoarding behaviors
Competency: Applicants must be able to pass background checks, and complete training
Minimum Education Required
H.S. Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Minimum Experience Required
1 year experience with SPMI (Serious and Persistent Mental Illness)
