Application Analyst and Developer, Principal (Multiple Positions) Group Health, Inc. dba HealthPartners (Bloomington, MN). Work within a Product Team including functional and technical resources to prioritize and plan work; software development and deployment by assessing, designing, building and deploying new application functionality; perform full unit testing, partner in system and end-user test planning; analyze functional and technical requirements for changes or enhancements and prepare system designs and specifications; diagnose system failures, correct issues, and assess the issue to recommend actions to prevent re-occurrence; define technical specifications based on business requirements, consult with Business Partners regarding technical possibilities and limitations; identify need for and recommend standard processes, procedures, and best practices; provide training, professional support and mentoring to Application Developers and other Analysts; and, support Oracle ERP upgrades (Legislative, Quarterly, CWB) working with functional team to understand changes and assist in testing and determining if any technical changes are needed.
