About the Role
National Salvage and Service Corporation is seeking a hands-on Environmental Foreman to lead field crews in environmental remediation and industrial service projects. This role is ideal for a safety-focused leader who thrives in fast-paced, outdoor environments and has experience managing crews and equipment on active job sites.
What You-ll Do
Lead and supervise environmental field crews on remediation, spill response, and industrial cleaning projects
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company standards
Coordinate daily job tasks, crew assignments, and equipment usage
Operate and oversee equipment such as vacuum trucks, hydroblasters, and pumps
Conduct safety meetings, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and enforce PPE requirements
Train crew members on proper procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation
Complete and maintain required documentation (logs, manifests, reports)
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members
Monitor productivity and adjust workflows to meet project deadlines
What We-re Looking For
3+ years of experience in environmental services, industrial cleaning, or remediation
Prior experience leading crews or serving in a foreman/lead role
Strong understanding of safety regulations and field operations
Ability to operate or learn specialized environmental equipment
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Willingness to travel and work in physically demanding environments
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER (current)
CDL (Commercial Driver-s License)
Confined Space Entry certification
Experience in railroad, industrial, or heavy civil environments
Work Environment
Outdoor, field-based work in varying weather and industrial conditions
Frequent travel and occasional extended hours
Physically demanding work including lifting, climbing, and use of PPE/respirators
