Position: Ag Equipment Operator
Requirements: Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain following hire appropriate CDL and obtain clean driving record to drive trucks. Be able to lift up to 60 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
Job Description: We are a 500 acre farming operation. We grow cotton, rye, wheat, black eyed peas and raise cattle. Our equipment is mostly late model John Deere machines. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; clean work areas; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; maintain grounds and landscaping; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; tend to livestock by feeding, medicating, general care, grading, sorting, working, placing identification on, or relocating; tilling soil, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning crops; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, bins, silos, loading and unloading facilities, combines or other harvesting equipment, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc, planters, selfpropelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, sprayers, spreaders, tillage equipment, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cattle, pigs, corn, cotton, grain sorghum, hay, wheat, rye, black eyed peas. Must speak and understand English.
Anticipated Hours of Work Per Week: 44hrs per week.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8hrs Saturday 4hrs 8:00am-5:00pm
Anticipated Period of Employment: 01/20/2026 to 10/20/2026
