Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting and a strong understanding of safety protocols within a warehouse environment. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various components. The Industrial Painter will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while adhering to industry standards. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary. Apply paint using various techniques including spray, brush, and roller methods. Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed. Operate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of coatings. Collaborate with team members to assemble and fabricate components as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Utilize cranes and other equipment safely during the painting process. Assist in welding tasks when necessary to prepare items for painting. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Review work orders and paint specifications to ensure a clear understanding of job requirements. Prepare and mix paint ingredients according to manufacturer specifications. Assist in managing and tracking paint inventory levels. Operate the curing oven to complete the painting process. Industrial painter, powder coating Transport parts to the paint booth or preparation areas as needed. Inspect parts to ensure cleanliness and absence of defects prior to painting. Assemble and disassemble painting equipment to ensure proper maintenance. Perform preparation tasks such as racking, hanging, and masking parts for painting. Apply paint manually to ensure uniform coverage and proper application. Inspect painted parts continuously, making adjustments to spray guns as required. Maintain the paint booth, including replacing filters and lights as necessary. Take on additional duties as assigned to meet business needs. Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent. Industrial painter, powder coating Familiarity with or willingness to learn about DFL and/or Cerakote applications. Previous experience in painting/applying DFL, Cerakote, automotive, or powder coatings. Solid understanding of racking materials and their electrical current capacities. Excellent mechanical skills with strong attention to detail. Basic computer skills and ability to use standard software programs. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload effectively. Ability to read and follow procedures, processes, and instructions accurately. Professional and respectful collaboration with team members. Reliable and punctual, with the flexibility to work overtime when required. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Industrial painter, powder coating Proven experience in industrial painting or related fields such as auto body repair or machining. Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols. Ability to weld and fabricate components is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for accurate results. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing processes.
