nVent Electrician Lead - 1st Shift in Blaine, Minnesota

nVent is seeking an Electrician Lead to join our team in Blaine, MN. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the operation of our facility and production equipment by overseeing, reviewing, and signing off on electrical work. You will be responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting, repairs, preventative maintenance, and process improvements. You will also provide guidance and coaching to our Electrical Shop and Team. Your leadership will be instrumental in the team's success, as you guide them to perform at the highest level and deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Exercise a high degree of professionalism when responding to internal and external customer concerns,repairsand installations of equipment.

  • Perform electrical worksuch aspreventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment related to electrical, controls, and PLC,assistingin the integration, start-up, and debug of new or moved equipment, and constructing andmodifyingnew and existing electrical circuits and distribution equipment following NEC requirements.

  • Support the development of technician skills through training and coaching to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and adherence to procedures.

  • Maintainaccurateequipment repair/modification documentation and update equipment files.

Requirements:

  • Experience supervising electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors

  • Valid Master Electrician license in the state of Minnesota.

  • Exceptional knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and equipment.

  • PLC certified ordemonstratesthe ability to troubleshoot, program, configure and install PLC processors and components.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to determineappropriate solutions.

  • Ability to successfully implement preventive maintenance programs.

  • Ability to plan, estimate materials, and manage electrical projects from start to finish

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or on‑call rotations asrequired.

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, lockout/tagout, and OSHA standards.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$26.10 - $48.50 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
