Twin City Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Operator / Programmer to join a cutting edge team in Blaine, MN. This unique role bridges the gap between traditional operating and programming by utilizing modern conversational software that allows operators to program directly at the machine. Job type: Temp-to-hire Location: Blaine, MN Hours: Monday - Friday | 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Alternative 7:00 am - 3:30 pm schedule available Monday - Thursday) Pay: $30 - $36/hr., DOE Benefits of the CNC Operator / Programmer position: Health insurance and full benefits package Paid holidays and vacation time 401(k) plan with employer matching Stable shop with long-term customers Room for advancement Duties of the CNC Operator / Programmer: Perform repairs on aluminum and steel cores utilizing CNC lathe equipment Utilize conversational software for programming machines Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to select appropriate tooling Determine precise cut positions and optimal machine speed and feed ratios Setup, align, and secure machine tooling using precision instruments and hand tools Monitor machine functionality and make adjustments as needed Maintain a high focus on quality output and precision Requirements of the CNC Operator / Programmer: 3+ years of experience in a machinist role 2-3 years of experience with CNC lathes Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in reading blueprints Skill in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices Ability to adapt to conversational programming software (manual machining background is a plus) Welding skills are an asset to the team Additional Information: Apply today!
