Location: Blaine, MN Wage: $30 $40 / hour Hours: 5:45 am 3:45 pm, Monday Thursday | 5:45 am 11:45 am, Friday (overtime) Benefits of the CNC Lathe Machinist / Programmer position: Paid Time Off 401K Paid Holidays Company Parties Room for advancement Stable shop with long-term customers Opportunity to work on unique projects across a diverse range of materials Professional growth and skill development within organization Competitive compensation and benefits package A team-oriented culture that values collaboration and safety Duties of the CNC Lathe Machinist / Programmer position: Set up and operate CNC turning machine centers (Doosan and DMG Mori machines) Use GibbsCAM software for programming Perform MDI (Manual Data Input) programming for efficient part production Conduct manual inspection using gauges and instruments before submitting for CMM inspection Understand GD&T and interpret complex 2-D drawings Monitor and inspect parts throughout the machining process Requirements of the CNC Lathe Machinist / Programmer position: High School Diploma or GED Associate degree in a relevant field, or 3+ years of experience in turning center machining, or 5 years of overall CNC machining experience Familiarity with Doosan and DMG Mori machine operation Experience working with various materials, such as aluminum, plastic, and steel Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience with manual inspection using gauges and instruments Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment Capable of handling sensitive and sometimes confidential information Good communication skills for effective teamwork Additional information: Apply today!
