Job Description
Join a dynamic Grinding Department where you will operate both manual and automated machines to grind and polish wires for medical applications. This role involves feeding wires into buffing machines, verifying measurements using automatic measuring machines, and ensuring quality standards through visual inspections with micrometers and calipers. You will be responsible for documentation and adherence to work instructions. The position offers opportunities for cross-training to other machine stations and clean room areas.
Responsibilities
Operate manual and automated machines to grind and polish wires.
Feed wires into buffing machines and verify measurements.
Inspect wires visually and measure dimensions using micrometers and calipers.
Perform documentation and follow work instructions.
Call technicians for machine adjustments when necessary.
Cross-train to other machine stations and clean room areas.

Work Environment
Work in a medical regulated environment without a cleanroom. The facility is well-lit, clean, and organized, featuring a beautiful break room with vending machines, fridges, and microwaves. The role primarily involves standing, but floor mats are provided for comfort. The shift operates Sunday through Thursday from 10 PM to 6 AM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blaine, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.40 - $23.40/hr.
