The Accounting Assistant will work in a variety of functions, including accounts payable, general ledger account reconciliation, month-end close, audit preparation, tax preparation, financial reporting and research and analysis.
Educational Background:
2-year or 4-year Accounting or related degree.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in accounting-related functions.
Skills:
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting and finance principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Organized
- Curious and able to ask questions
- Previous banking experience is a plus.
