The Role
We are hiring a Divisional Controller to join our team of accounting professionals. This role will work out of our Saint John, NB or Blacks Harbour, NB office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing a team
Completing period end financial statements and management reports, working paper files and ad hoc reporting
Continuous process improvement
Be involved, periodically, in projects to support the overall accounting and finance team
Coordinating the requests of the external auditors for both the interim and year end audit tasks
A successful candidate will possess:
Professional accounting designation required
University degree in accounting or finance
Fluent in English and Spanish, both oral and written
5 years plus of relevant experience in a management role
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Valid passport required for travel to other non-Canadian operations
Travel outside of North America required
