About the Role
We are seeking experienced and compassionate Long-Term Acute Care Registered Nurses to join our team. This role involves providing both direct and indirect care to medically complex patients in a long-term acute setting. Ideal candidates are confident in high-acuity environments and comfortable managing diverse clinical needs.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to LTAC patients with complex medical conditions
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery
Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC EMR system
Provide care for patients requiring ventilator support, wound care, cardiac monitoring, and post-trauma stabilization
Minimum Requirements
Current RN license in the state of practice
Minimum of 1 year nursing experience (LTAC experience preferred)
Experience in acute rehabilitation including vents, wound care, cardiac, and stable post-trauma patients
Current CPR certification (if applicable)
TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Assignment Details
Modality: RN – Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
Shift: PM
Hours: 36 per week
Ratios: Approximately 1:4–1:6
Charting System: EPIC
Interview: Client interview required
Candidates will be screened on acute experience (med-surg, ICU/PCU) and EMR proficiency
Compensation
Local: $50 per hour
Travel: $2,100 per week
