US Tech Solutions I&C Designer in Birmingham, Alabama

Job Description:
- The I&C Designer 3 position requires 7-10 years of related experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include Producing design drawings, preparing layouts and conceptual designs.
Providing engineering services and field support.
Conducting preparation of designs and calculations.
Conducting site walk downs of construction sites.
Providing schedule and staffing input for projects, leading projects with oversight.
Qualifications:
Skillsets and expertise required for this position include experience in a CAD platform or integrated design tool.
Experience in instrument services and field support.
Experience with pressure, flow, and temperature devices.
Desired Characteristics:
Experience developing instrument datasheets, installation details.
Experience with site walk downs, experience working on P&IDs, DCS Wiring and loop sheets.
Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
Education:
- High School Diploma.
Note:
PPE required for field/site visits: Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes, Hard Hat, High Visibility Safety Vest, Ear Plugs.
Travel may be required
The assignment will primarily be remote with occasional trips to sites and/or the office. The amount of travel will be contingent upon the requirements of the project and are subject to change per project.
