Compensation: $45.00
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities
Support the Grid Operations and Planning Research area within the Company’s Research & Development department.
Support projects and lead efforts to deploy and evaluate the performance of emerging technologies in power system analysis and modeling.
Focus on tools for grid operations, including digital twins, big data analytics, and visualization.
Develop research plans to evaluate new technology.
Manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Provide documentation of study assumptions and methodologies.
Prepare reports and presentations on project findings.
Assist with occasional overnight travel as needed.
Requirements
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (EE) required
Proficiency in power system modeling and simulation (RTDS, PSCAD, or PSS/E) required
Specialization in Power Systems preferred
Training in/experience with computer programming (Python, C#, SQL) desired
Training in/experience with data science desired
Strong communication skills, both internal and external
Excellent organizational skills
Analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Team-oriented mentality
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong problem-solving skills
