We need a seasonal employee to assist with corn, wheat, and soybean crop production, performing all assigned duties related to growing and harvesting these crops. Responsibilities include preparing fields for planting; attaching and operating farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, planters, seed drills, manure spreaders, combines, and irrigation equipment; engaging in planting, weeding, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting activities; applying fertilizer and pesticide solutions to control insects, weeds, fungus, and diseases; installing, maintaining, and repairing pivot irrigation systems; loading and unloading crops and materials manually or using conveyors, forklifts, transfer augers, hand trucks, shovels, pitchforks, or suction gates; loading hoppers and conveyors to feed machinery; setting, activating, and adjusting equipment controls; monitoring machinery operation to detect malfunctions; driving farm semi-trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools; inspecting, adjusting, and completing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and irrigation systems; recording required agricultural data; and performing general equipment and system maintenance as needed. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer
Housing is provided. Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered. Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
