Mirabito Energy Products Corporate Receptionist in Binghamton, New York

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Corporate Receptionist

Status: Full Time, Hourly Non-Exempt

Pay Range: $19.75 - $21.75

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS ' include and are not limited to:

  • Operate a multi-line phone system with genuine and courteous professionalism with each caller.

  • Provide genuine and courteous professionalism to each guest as they enter the receptionist area.

  • Maintain a courteous and professional atmosphere within the entire receptionist area.

  • Maintain a broad level of knowledge of the company's structure, product lines and geographic markets.

  • Administer the distribution of third party shipments and deliveries.

  • Provide basic clerical support to corporate staff.

  • Provide administrative support to the Loyalty Program participants

  • Report to work with minimal absenteeism or tardiness and able to work overtime when required.

  • Perform other job-related functions and special projects as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES ' include and are not limited to:

  • Identify each caller's needs to ensure correct and efficient processing. Provide basic customer service to eliminate the need for multi transfers.

  • Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with related policies and procedures.

  • Assist with data entry, marketing outreach, document preparation and other clerical support as needed.

  • Loyalty program administration including enrollment, modifications, customer inquiries, point redemption and validation.

  • Ensure the availability of necessary supplies

  • Follow the Mirabito Office Code of Ethics

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS ' include and are not limited to:

  • Possess a warm and welcoming tone with each greeting; in person, phone and/or email communications.

  • Efficiently operate a multi-line phone system, fax machine and document scanner.

  • Possess effective communication skills with a focus on the customers' experience.

  • Efficiently navigate industry software including Microsoft office applications.

  • Possess effective listening skills.

  • Possess efficient organizational skills.

  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.

  • Must be able to sit for periods up to 3 hours.

  • Must be able to lift, pull and carry up to 50 pounds.

  • 2-year College Degree preferred and/or 2-5 years relative experience.
