This role involves operating tractor-trailer and tanker combinations, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining DOT-compliant logs and paperwork, and ensuring all materials are handled safely according to regulatory standards. Drivers may assist with loading and unloading deliveries, follow strict safety procedures including the use of PPE, and occasionally support warehouse operations when not scheduled for deliveries.
