Job Title: Bookkeeper (Temp-to-Perm)

Location: Binghamton

Pay Rate: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper for a temp-to-permanent opportunity in Binghamton, NY. This position is ideal for a dependable accounting professional who enjoys managing day-to-day financial operations and takes pride in accuracy and organization.

This role offers steady daytime hours and the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

  • Enter and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner

  • Apply cash payments and post receipts

  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies

Accounts Payable

  • Review, enter, and process vendor invoices

  • Ensure timely and accurate payments

  • Maintain organized vendor records

General Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks

  • Assist with account reconciliations and reporting

  • Support overall accounting and administrative functions as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven bookkeeping or accounting support experience

  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks

  • Hands-on experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoice entry, and cash application

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
