Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Exempt)
Starting Wage DOE: $54,849 - $68,577
The Marketing Visual Specialist is responsible for creating dynamic and engaging visual content that supports Billings Clinic’s mission, values, and strategic marketing initiatives. This role combines photography, videography, and editing expertise to tell compelling stories across digital and traditional platforms. Working collaboratively with department leaders and team members, this position brings the Billings Clinic story to life through capturing the people, purpose, and community that define who we are.
Essential Job Functions
• Conceptualizes, captures, and edits high-quality videos and photos for social media, websites, digital campaigns, and print materials to support organizational branding and marketing objectives.
• Ensures all visuals align with Billings Clinic’s brand standards, visual identity, and tone, maintaining consistency across all communication channels.
• Partners with department leaders, providers, and internal teams to identify and develop visual storytelling opportunities that highlight key programs, initiatives, and patient experiences.
• Provides photography and videography coverage for internal and external events, community outreach programs, and media initiatives.
• Uses Adobe Creative Suite and related software to edit videos and photos, adding graphics, subtitles, and other enhancements to meet marketing and accessibility standards.
• Assists in the creation of press and media materials, including visual assets for news releases, interviews, and internal communications.
• Manages multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining attention to quality and detail.
• Operates and maintains cameras, lighting, audio, and video production equipment, ensuring all assets are properly cared for and organized.
• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Production, or related field
• Or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in marketing, communications, or content creation.
• Demonstrated experience in photography, videography, and editing (portfolio required).
Certifications and Licenses
• Current Montana driver’s license and the ability to be insured by Billings Clinic’s liability insurance carrier.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered. Employees that require a licensed or certification must be properly licensed/certified and the licensure/certification must be in good standing.
