City of Billings Head Cashier - Seasonal in Billings, Montana
Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Join our team as a Head Cashier and help ensure smooth daily operations at the pool this summer. As the Head Cashier, you will oversee the training and supervision of pool cashier staff while managing daily admission operations. This role is key to maintaining efficient customer service, accurate cash handling, and positive guest experiences. Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour. Preferred Dates: May 26, 2036 - August 31, 2026. Work Schedule: Monday through Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 40 hours per week maximum. Flexible. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Train, supervise, and support pool cashier staff. • Manage daily admissions and season pass sales. • Complete nightly deposits and audits. • Maintain accurate records and cash handling procedures. • Assist with gate admission crowd control and customer flow. • Ensure a friendly, professional, and organized admission area. • Provide excellent care and customer service to the public. Minimum Qualifications & Skills: • Must meet minimum age requirements. • Trustworthy, dependable, and responsible. • Previous experience supervising and training cashiers preferred. • Strong math skills with attention to detail. • Legible handwriting and strong organizational skills. • Ability to manage crowds and provide excellent customer service. • Maintain a clean, professional appearance with a friendly, courteous attitude.
