El Concrete Company is seeking concrete Laborers and Finishers who are strong self-starters and can bring experience and quality to their work. El Concrete Company specializes in delivering high-quality flatwork and structural concrete solutions for residential, commercial and industrial projects in Billings and the surrounding areas. Wage Range: • Laborers - $18.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience. • Finishers - $30.00 to $40.00 per hour depending on experience. Duties include but are not limited to: • Assist with the preparation of concrete forms and reinforcement including rebar installation. • Operate power tools and hand tools, pouring, spreading, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces with precision. • Support the setup and operation of concrete mixers and pumps to facilitate efficient pouring processes across various project sites. • Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, troweling, and sealing to achieve desired surface quality and texture. • Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications, ensuring accurate placement of concrete elements during renovation or new construction. • Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols on busy construction sites. Qualifications: • Prior experience working on construction sites with exposure to concrete finishing. • Mechanical knowledge of tools such as power saws, trowels, caulking guns, and other hand tools used in concrete work. • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise project execution. • Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during demanding workdays. • Knowledge of safety practices related to heavy equipment operation, scaffolding, roofing support, and site hazard prevention. • Familiarity with construction estimating processes and building codes is preferred. • Possessing a valid driver's license is preferred.
