Kuehne+Nagel is one of the world’s leading logistics providers. Within our Integrated Logistics (IL) organization, we are looking for an IL Engineer Operations to strengthen our Control Tower team.
In this role, you will focus on improving, standardizing, and automating processes across our Control Tower operations. You will work closely with both customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions that drive productivity and support global operations.
You will be part of a dynamic, international environment where continuous improvement and collaboration are key.
How you create impact
Work with cross-functional teams (Operations, Solution Development, Customer Solutions, Finance, Logistics Partner Management) to design and improve logistics solutions
Analyze current processes and use insights to optimize future customer implementations
Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Translate process designs into clear documentation (process flows, SOPs, work instructions)
Support the implementation and optimization of customer-specific processes
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency
Support KPI development, monitoring, and reporting
Align with global stakeholders to ensure consistent Control Tower standard
What we would like you to bring
Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, operations, or process optimization
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar (or equivalent experience)
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma cerifications are an adventage)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent in English with strong communication skills
