Description:
Key Responsibilities of an HR Officer in Hotels
Recruitment & Onboarding
Post job openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct reference checks.
Facilitate onboarding by introducing new hires to hotel policies, culture, and service standards.
Training & Development
Organize training sessions on customer service, safety, and hospitality standards.
Identify skill gaps and implement development programs to enhance staff performance.
Employee Relations
Act as a mediator between staff and management to resolve conflicts.
Promote employee engagement and satisfaction through recognition programs and feedback systems.
Compliance & Policy Management
Ensure adherence to labor laws, health and safety regulations, and hotel policies.
Maintain accurate employee records and handle disciplinary procedures when necessary.
Performance Management
Support managers in conducting appraisals and setting performance goals.
Monitor productivity and recommend improvements to align with hotel objectives.
Qualifications:
Skills & Qualifications
Essential Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Organizational ability to manage multiple HR functions simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or Business Administration.
Prior experience in hospitality or service-oriented industries.
