THE OPPORTUNITY
Banc of California offers a paid, full-time summer internship (8–10 weeks) for undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university. As an intern, you will work on impactful projects, collaborate with industry professionals and gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Collaborate with team members and cross‑functional partners while contributing to department and business objectives.
Support day‑to‑day operations and projects within the assigned department.
Assist with research, data analysis, reporting, and documentation as needed.
Help prepare presentations, summaries, and materials for internal stakeholders.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
Gain exposure to banking operations, governance, and risk management.
Develop professional skills through hands‑on experience, mentorship, and training.
Build foundational knowledge applicable to a career in financial services.
Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling information.
Follow all established policies and procedures.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university in a degree program in Business or related field
Junior or senior standing preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with AI‑enabled tools preferred
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
High School diploma or equivalent required
SALARY RANGE
The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
