What will you be doing in this role?
The Facility Coordinator I is responsible for general maintenance and equipment repair for the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network to include multiple facilities including Robertson, Wilshire, La Cienega, Cedars-Towers and other sites as required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provides basic building maintenance and repair to include: plumbing maintenance and drain repair; electrical and lighting system repair; furniture and office equipment repair; wall cover repair to include painting and texturing, etc. Advanced level maintenance and repairs will generally be performed by the Facility Coordinator II.
May assist with maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
May coordinate and schedule contractors' services when scope of work requires outside services.
Assists in the disposition and control of inventories allocated to warehouse storage.
Provides minor janitorial support as necessary for the sanitary delivery of clinical services.
Coordinates room set-up and preparation for meetings and other events.
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education
High School Diploma/GED required
A.A. degree or Trade Tech School graduate preferred
Work Experience
- 2-5 years progressive level experience in building maintenance and equipment repair; knowledge and possession of hand and/or power tools necessary to perform routine maintenance operations required
