Description
We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations and oversee financial reporting for our organization for start-up Healthcare organization. This role is remote with a strong preference candidates local to the Los Angeles area for meetings and get to togethers.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
Own and manage factoring arrangements, ensuring effective cash flow, reconciliations, and lender reporting
Lead and optimize revenue cycle processes
Prepare and review financial statements, forecasts, and management reports
Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Partner with leadership to support budgeting, planning, and financial strategy
Lead and develop the accounting team
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership within Healthcare sector
Hands-on experience with factoring and cash flow management
Strong GAAP, reporting, and revenue cycle expertise
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Proven experience with factoring and revenue cycle processes.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Healthcare industry required
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or similar role.
