Aerotek Machine Operator in Bettendorf, Iowa
Machine Operator – Day Shift (B)
Bettendorf, Iowa
7am-7pm (12 hour shifts)
Alternating schedule (2 day on, 2 day off. 3 days on, 2 days off)
Key Responsibilities
Minimize scrap on assigned machines and verify proper color concentration.
Prepare for and monitor product changeovers, including completing line clearances.
Compare machine cycle times to established standards and adjust as needed.
Support packers during breaks and lunches by packing bottles.
Verify proper operation of downstream equipment.
Ensure high-quality bottle production during restarts.
Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs.
Accurately complete machine production line reports.
Identify and respond appropriately to machine sounds, alarms, and alerts.
Assist the material operator with tasks as required.

Work Environment
Our facility operates on two 12‑hour shifts:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Employees work 15 days per month . Work conditions related to temperature and cleanliness are reviewed during the facility tour. Unexcused attendance results in automatic termination. Employees are allowed two call-ins per month .

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bettendorf, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
