Join the Bettendorf Community School District as a Floater Custodian. This position will float between buildings.
Do you take pride in creating clean, safe spaces for students and staff? Bettendorf CSD is looking for adedicated, detail-oriented Custodianto join our Operations team!
Hours:8 hours/day
Pay:$22.36/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Pool certification in buildings where pools are located
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of custodial supplies and cleaning methods and techniques
Ability to follow all health and safety regulations
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
Effective written and verbal communication to respond to staff, students, and guests
Able to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment
Ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervision
Friendly, courteous, patient, and adaptable demeanor
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Flexibility to meet the daily needs of the school building
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful custodial experience in a school setting
